It is a phone Realme 16 Pro Plus Realme’s first major launch in 2026, and it comes with an updated design that puts cameras at the forefront. The phone is considered one of the first Realme devices to rely on the new LumaColor Image processing technology, which aims to provide realistic colors, improve color accuracy, and show skin tones naturally in different lighting conditions.

The Realme 16 Pro+ relies on a 200MP main camera that uses a 1/1.56-inch Samsung HP5 sensor and an f/1.8 lens aperture. The camera supports the Full-Pixel Auto Zoom feature with 1X and 2X zoom without losing image quality.

Thanks to the LumaColor Image system, the phone provides 21 custom color settings, including five distinct portrait modes, including: Lively, Vintage, Fresh, Neon, and Vivid. The phone also supports HyperRAW, InstantSnap, and Anti-Distortion algorithms, which help improve sharpness, stabilize moving shots, and reduce edge distortion.

For zoom, Realme provided the phone with a 50-megapixel periscope lens based on the Samsung JN5 sensor, with 3.5X optical zoom and Super Zoom support up to 120X. The third camera on the back is an 8-megapixel wide lens.

In terms of design, the phone is based on Realme’s new Urban Wild Design design language, which was designed by the famous Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa. The back cover is made of organic silicone derived from vegetable straw.

In terms of performance, the phone runs on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor from Qualcomm, with 8 or 12 GB LPDDR5X RAM and 128 or 256 GB UFS 3.1 storage capacities. It features a 6.8-inch curved AMOLED screen with a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. It also has a 50-megapixel front camera and a fingerprint sensor integrated under the screen.

The phone contains a large 7,000 mAh battery that supports 80-watt fast charging, in addition to water and dust resistance with an IP69 standard. It works with an interface realme UI 7.0 Built on Android 16, with Realme pledging to provide 3 major system updates and 4 years of security updates.

Realme 16 Pro+ is available in Master Gold and Master Grey, in addition to the Camellia Pink color exclusive to the Indian market. The price of the phone starts at $443 for the 8/128 GB version, while the 8/256 GB version comes at $465, and the 12/256 GB version comes at $498. Pre-orders have already opened, with shipments to begin on January 8.
